Vaughan Posted November 26, 2000 Posted November 26, 2000 Web Companion isn't meant to be an all-singing all-dancing web server. It's a cgi interface to a database. You can always change Web Companion's port number (FM recommend 591) and run a "proper" web server application on port 80 to do all that stuff.

Vaughan is dead on with this. Web Companion is designed to make your databases available over the web and is able to publish the basic pages, but is NOT a general purpose web server and is not designed to send those other types of data. Use a general purpose web server, in conjunction with Web Companion and you will have alot more success! ------------------ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Kurt Knippel Consultant Database Resources mailto:[email protected] http://www.database-resources.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
