Do not serve images from FM on web. It is unnecessary load on WC.

Store just full URL references in FM. Then serve images from any normal web server.

I have found that some large jpegs (800K) are not appearing on the browsed web page coming from the database using the built-in http generator.

Is there a known limitation to the file size of a jpeg picture that is UNKNOWN to me?

Are you using Instant or Custom web publishing? Is the image in a container field, or on the layout/page?
