Unwanted gap at top of browser (IWP)

I am serving a database via Instant Web Publishing (Server 8 Advanced), when viewed from an internet browser the first page of my database has a 1/2 inch white gap/space at the top (between bottom of IE address bar and top of my database).

This gap/space is not present in my database (when opened via filemaker pro the gap is not there, both in browse and layout views). Only happens through IWP and only on the first page (all other layouts are fine and have no gap).

After some problem solving i have found this is not just happening on my database but also happens on the FMServer_Sample database.

Has anyone else ever noticed this or know a solution to this problem?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Matthew

Sounds like you have a title header (or similar) defined at the top of the layout.

I experienced this same problem (gap at top of page) with my IWP solution. My layout has only one Part (Body), only one View (Form), and I have specified all zeros for all 4 "Printing Margin" fields (top, bottom, left, right).

But ... the gap only appears when client is using Internet Explorer 6 or 7 -- no gap with Firefox (on Windows, anyway, I don't have access to a Mac at the moment).

BTW, the gap only appears for "Form" view -- no gap for "List" view layouts.

Thanks for any thoughts ...

I too am experiencing this problem with the gap at the top of the page in the browser. Anybody solved this problem yet?
