Hi,

On a IWP Database hosted on Filemaker 8 Server Advanced, I have been getting an Error at least once a day and does not allow Web access, the Error is "Unknown Error Number 13". The error is only present for the web users, the Filemaker Clients do not have any problems connecting.

If I just use the Filemaker Admin to stop and start the DB, it still does not get rid of the error.

Even a Recover of the file does not solve the problem

The only option that seems to work is import all the records into a clone and repost and start.

Does anyone know what would cause the error and what is the best way to get rid of it?

Thanks,

Mark

What version of FMSA are you using? 8.0v4 seems to have resolved the error 13 issues our clients had been seeing in previous iterations.

I has update the 8.04, but the problem still not solve...

Any idea to solve it?

I run into this problem occasionally. I am not sure what causes it, but restarting the FileMaker Publishing Engine (CWPE & CONFIG)gets rid of the problem. The problem may occur again at a later time, but just restart the FileMaker Publishing Engine (CWPE & CONFIG).

Remove any field validations you have. This is extremely inconvenient, but solves the problem reliably. FIleMaker is aware of this "bug" and is supposedly close to a solution.
