Enabling web companion for related files

Featured Replies

Hello,

When showing data from related fields (e.g. showing test scores for a student, where a student's data is in one file, his/her test scores in a related file, as in "toGED::form"), do both files need to have web companion enabled, or is it sufficient that the parent file have it enabled?

Thanks in advance,

Ursula

That is the best question in long time!

On my PC machine it works with WebCompanion off!

Thank you, Anatoli. I tried it and it works fine. I guess I should try it first, before asking questions ...

Ursula

Try it first, but ask also!

I really mean it! Thanks for asking. You see, we, advanced users sometimes forget to ask such question. But it is important to see the whole puzzle and it makes better sense!

Many thanks,
