ursulaa Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 Hello, When showing data from related fields (e.g. showing test scores for a student, where a student's data is in one file, his/her test scores in a related file, as in "toGED::form"), do both files need to have web companion enabled, or is it sufficient that the parent file have it enabled? Thanks in advance, Ursula
Anatoli Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 That is the best question in long time! On my PC machine it works with WebCompanion off!
ursulaa Posted April 4, 2002 Author Posted April 4, 2002 Thank you, Anatoli. I tried it and it works fine. I guess I should try it first, before asking questions ... Ursula
Anatoli Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 Try it first, but ask also! I really mean it! Thanks for asking. You see, we, advanced users sometimes forget to ask such question. But it is important to see the whole puzzle and it makes better sense!
