Performinf find on multiple related value lists in IWP

;)I have multiple related drop down value lists in my database which work well. I know that they don't work in find mode in IWP because it doesn't know that the data selected in the first drop down is there, but has anyone got any ideas of how to achieve the same find process some other way such as scripts or confining the finds some how

:( Any ideas gratefully received

You could set up global fields with those value lists and have the user make the selections in Browse mode; then click a button to run a script that sets the selected global values into the fields you want to search.

I never got back to you to say thanks for this one. It took me ages to work out how to do what you suggested. Now that I have it all seems so easy and is working like a dream.

Thanks loads

Linda
