Every once in awhile I have a user that receives an error via iwp that says record not found. From that point the user can't do anything until their session expires.

Why does this happen and is there a way I can prevent it?

Could you give us the circumstance of the error - in a find request maybe?

I think one time it happened when the user clicked the back button on the browser window.

The user(s) deed some training - using the browsers back button - or for that matter most of the browser nav functions - is going to trick IWP.

Have a good read through the IWP guide (in the Electronic Docs folder) as it exposes many caveats about IWP.
