I have a portal where I can happily edit the portal rows in Filemaker. But when I try to edit the portal rows in the same layout via IWP, I simply can't get manage to make any of the fields on the portal active. Similarly, my web-safe deletion script does not work. Also the portal scroll bar on the right does not display correctly.

I've attached the relationship definition.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Check the order of your layout objects, I've found that unless your active fields and portals are in front of everything else, they can't be accessed in IWP. This is more common in Firefox than with IE for some reason but bringing the fields to the front always resolves the problem. I see from your screen-grab that you're using a Mac, I don't know how Safari will behave but I'd guess this is the problem you are seeing. Even a box drawn around a portal will stop you accessing the fields or the portal itself if it is not moved backwards to a level behind the portal.

Hope this helps :(

Any other ideas? ( I have tried the bring to front idea)

I have encountered the same problem. I have created a layout where there are many fields...2 of which have empty edit boxes that the customer can edit/add comments.

I can sign-in to filemaker as a customer and add comments which leads me to believe that permissions are set-up right. But once I sign-in through IWP...The customer can not even get into the edit box???

It is strange because it seems like anytime I try to click on the record in IWP Internet Explorer is trying to "re-load"...

Any insight??
