Newbies Kevin Hobbs Posted April 23, 2009 Newbies Posted April 23, 2009 I'm working with FileMaker Pro 9.0v3. I have a text field being used for a simple search feature in an IWP app. Basically, you enter a record ID # into the search field, then click the Search button, and it runs a script to load a different layout depending on the particulars of the record. This is all working fine. The problem is that in the IWP mode, pressing Enter while in the search text field will enter a carriage return, making it look like the record # you just typed in has disappeared, when it's actually just scrolled out of the textfield. I've looked, but have been unable to find a way to force the field to be single-line in Web mode. The second problem I'm having is that the tab order I laid out in Client mode isn't carrying over to Web mode. Pressing Tab with the search box selected doesn't move directly to the search button, but skips around the page apparently at random. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
IdealData Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Please refer to the IWP guide that you will find in your installation documentation. Both these features are highlighted as 'problems' in IWP. There are many other caveats regarding IWP - read carefully.
