I have jjust started using IWP and need some qqick answers to a couple of things please:

1) I find that in a portal there is are no portal scroll bar visible even when the add scroll bar is ticked in FM10 AD. It is there and works on the local vesion. Is that correct?

2) I have a startup script which should take me to a particular layout on start up but when I look at hte program in IWP it aways starts in the same wrong layout? As though te startup sctipt is not working. Is there something I am missing?

3) In portals with all fields read only there is no row highlight in IWP. Is that correct?

IWP has some limitations compared to FM client and as you have seen some behavioural differences too.

I think the following might apply:

1. Scroll bars only show when there are more records in the portal than available lines in the portal.

2. Does you open script contain any invalid web commands? Check your script by showing the 'web compatible' steps.

3. Portal rows only become active when in edit mode - as your fields are read only then you can't edit them.
