chevell Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 I have an IWP solution that allows auto login as guest for users to fill out a form to get information. I'd like to include the user's email address (which I'm getting from another website) in the URL and then have the email address field autopopulate from the URL. Is this possible at all, and if so, how? I can use CWP, if need be. Thanks! -- Chevell
JesseSFR Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 I would definitely suggest using CWP. That way you could just create the form yourself and then submit the data to FileMaker when the user is finished. Technically you can not actually send parameters to IWP.
chevell Posted January 8, 2010 Author Posted January 8, 2010 Ok, sold. I'll use CWP, if only just to set the first information and forward to the IWP page I'm already using. How do you forward information from a URL (such as email address) from a URL to a field in a CWP? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
chevell Posted January 21, 2010 Author Posted January 21, 2010 Still looking for a way to pass data from a URL into a field in FMP CWP. I'm sure its just a matter of formatting the URL correctly on a page with the right field on it, right? Anyone have any help on this? Thanks!
