Can not connect outside of local network.

I am able to connect to my DB from the mac that FM is on, a computer using the same network, and iPhone wifi on same network.

I can not connect from any computer or device that is on another network. I have tried all Mac Sharing settings. I have tried changing the FM port from 80 to 591. I have tried to set my router firewall to allow connection through port 591 and port 80. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

*Edit

This has been attempted via Safari, IE, and Firefox, from both mac and windows.

It sounds as the routing from the outside of your firewall/router to the internal IWP-machine is not set up correctly.

We are a bit in the dark here. Can really only guess. Maybe some screendumps of the router settings would help?

Are you sure about your external/public IP number?

You can check it here http://www.myip.net/

Got it handled/figured out... When I changed the router settings to allow the port forward, I'd only set it for TCP and not UDP, also.
