I recently updated my installation of FMPA to v3 and immediately noticed some strange formatting issues.

Has anybody else been experiencing this?

Hi James,

Is there conditional formatting on the field with custom font size set to 500 (with stacked fields)? Making font invisible has been failing on some configurations in 12.0v2 and the v3 Updater includes several layout-level tweaks including "Improvements in performance made to layout rendering when objects contained conditional formatting." Is it a grouped object? Maybe part of the group has all four anchors.

Depending upon all-factors-not-yet-known, some conversions didn't fare as well as others in this latest update and I have lot track of what has broken on which platform and which issues have since been fixed and which fixed issues have caused other breaks which ... since it is all happening so quickly. Maybe others have heard more also. But if nothing else has changed except the immediate updater then I would revert unless you want to spend your time going through every layout looking for this (or similar type breaks).

But first it would be good to explore the field and file for more information both for reporting to FMI if it hasn't already been reported and for others who might read your post. So check for conditional formatting or fond size in general (also font name). Then maybe run Recover on a COPY of the file (use it only to get the recover log then destroy it; never use a recovered file). What does it report? And maybe create another field, attaching same control and see what you get.
