Why the master record delete if I delete a record in the portal... Please help. I have checked all the options properly.. It has been working, suddenly it stopped working and deleting the master record also...

No mystery: one of the relationships is set up to delete invoices when an invoice item is deleted.

I would venture that most developers have made this mistake! Child Table records set to delete Parent Table records. In some cases, like mine, I had made the mistake early on. Then I deleted a child record and it deleted the parent record which then deleted hundreds of payroll entries. Always backup . . .

Ya, been there, done that.

I (in about 99/100 cases) simply do not allow relationships to perform deletes these days....
