Hi, I reserved a round of golf on the TPC San Antonio Monday July 28th @ 7:45 AM during the pre-conf event, which I will not attend. Since it's my first DevCon, I don't know a lot of people. I haven't seen much about the Devcon from this forum and wanted to find out if its worth the money to go. Given I am in Sacramento and its a 1.5 drive but curious if I being somewhat new to FM if I will benefit enough to justify the cost.

So you decide to go to Devcon and may not want to pay overpriced fees for in room access. Or need to be able to interface with your client remotely anywhere. Every year people are disappointed that they haven't been able to book a room at the conference hotel. Book now. You can cancel before 3 days, in case your plans change.

I don't think I'm breaking any super secret confidential agreement to pass along they announced at the final session DevCon 09 will be in San Francisco! Finally - no 110 degree humid thunderstorms, scorpions big cockroaches etc etc etc! If we start planning now - we can get some great get togethers and stuff going for next year. I volunteer to help out on this end since we're so close to home. I'd like to see alot of the independent developer companies band together to host something fun. Anyway - Besides next year - what did y'all think of this year?

First flight from Charleston to Atlanta cancelled Sunday afternoon. The pair of us got on the next flight out via Standby In Atlanta next flight was delayed due to weather. Then delayed again. And again. And then again. Now we get on the plane (3 hours later-could have been worse.) Still at the gate 15 minutes after everyone on board. Pilot gets on the P.A. "Flight has been cancelled".
