Ok what am I doing wrong the I got web companion running but when you click submit it takes 4 min to submit the form!!!!!!! I have a G3 Blue and White with FM5.5 384mb ram. Running System 9.1.1 does anyone have an Idea on what I should do?

Yes. You should post your code. for the submit.

Mac OS is without real multitasking. If you are running everything on that machine -- WC + FM and browser -- all applications are fighting for resources and CPU.

But 4 min is out of proportion even with Mac OS.

Is that Custom WP or Instant WP?

That is with Instant web publishing. The Submit code is nothing special it is the Submit button on the lavender layout for Instant web publishing. I agree with the fighting for CPU power this Blue and White is a 350mhz, I have 384 meg ram installed. Am I asking it to do too much? Itried running just the FM and Accessing it from another computer although it was through the same gatway that should not matter. So I had a friend access it and he had the same results.

God knows what is going on in Instant WP...

God has not figured that out yet Anatoli, and He's been studying it full-time. wink.gif

Oh my, then we are really in trouble...

Try using a very simple Layout, with one or two data fields. Even create a very simple database to test.

Try to isolate the problem.

Good Luck.
