I am trying to figure out how to make a database with 3 tables, clients-invoices-products. Pretty easy I would think. But in the process of trying to make it work, sometimes Filemaker starts spinning the color wheel of death, and goodbye database. has anyone else had this annoying problem? I would think that FM would at least give an error code.

There should be no problem at all doing that but where are the files located - on your machine or someplace else?

On my computer....everything is on one computer

All I can figure is that I am doing something wrong, and sending FM into some loop it can't get out of. If I force quit and come back into that database, the wheel will still be spinning and I have to force quit to get out again.

Do you have many unstored calculations, summary fields, or any Custom Functions that might create an infinite loop?
