How do you get rid of the intro page in IWP.

Featured Replies

I have a IWP based Filemaker DB that I want to go directly to. Instead we get that FM web page with the blue stripe at the top. The user then has to click on my FM db. Is there anyway to URL straight to my File? i.e. http://www.mydomain.com/MyFileMakerDB.fp5

thanks.

This will work on Windows don't know about MAC

Yes we ran into the same problem but were able to fix it.. When you click on the link in the fm home page copy the url at the top of your browser.. This is your direct link into your database..

when you leave your DB by using a button to exit.. It will drop you back at the homepage with the blue stripe... But wait there is more !!!!!!

The name of that page is iwp_home.html .. Do a search on your drive to locate this file.. name it iwp_home_old.html and create a page using your htlm editor of choice with anything you like and name that iwp_home.html and put it where you found the first one that you named iwp_home_old.html......

Now when you exit your DB it will take you to your new created page it works.. If you need more details let me know..
