Javascript unknown error 802

Featured Replies

Hi All

I have a database up and running on FMSA 7 which is showing the databases (this is includes the FM demo file) in the publishing window but returns the error "Javascript unkown error 802" when you try to access it.

I've seen this question posted but no answer to what it means.

Many thanks

Flook

Do you have java enabled?

Both in the OS and your browser.

Yes the java (and javascript) is enabled on both os and browser. I've also checked extended privleleges and the FMIW config which seem to be acting correctly.

The file publishes properly when running under FM 8 but not when running on the server. I've tried to find out what error 802 is but don't know enough about java to know where to start.

Check the owner and group for the files (fmserverd and fmsadmin)

Also check to make sure the extended privileges are set for fmiwp or fmxml etc.

Hi guys..

I wish to disable printing with java script.. But can anyone teach me how to incoporate in filemaker..??

And can html coding be incoporate in filemaker??

You have to add the "User" that you specified in the web interface also in the Server Admin- it's like a key that ties the Server and the Web Publishing Engine together. You have a button for Server Advanced in the Server Admin Interface.

Have now checked the owner and group settings and these are as they should be. It's looking like a complete re-install unless anyone has any more thoughts.

Thanks for your answers
