transpower Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 It appears that Google and Yahoo! don't search and index FileMaker IWP Web sites properly. Is there some way to modify the opening Java script so that the search engines will properly index the data base? Or is there something else which must be done?
Wim Decorte Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 IWP pages don't exist until a session is started. I'm not sure you'd want the web crawlers to hog your # of available sessions ...
transpower Posted March 15, 2006 Author Posted March 15, 2006 It's OK by me if the search engines hog the sessions in order to index the site. As it is, I'm not sure that they are able to properly crawl through an IWP site, so I'm looking for ways to help them.
