February 22, 200124 yr Why should your ISP worry about the Port? We just setup a IP route from ur router to the PC running our FMPro via a virtual socket and let the router do the mapping once it's internal
February 23, 200124 yr You should use port 80. Only if on the same IP is already web server on port 80, then you should use the 591. I do not think, there is UDP involved. It is the most normal web server traffic.
February 23, 200124 yr Author Thank you everybody, Opened both UDP and TCP (591). It working OK. Thanks again!!
March 26, 200124 yr I have found port 591 to be real pain. Many large companies do not have port 591 opened for access on their firewalls as it is not standard. Many companies could not access my website when this port was used. I changed to port 8080 whoch is a bit more standard and all my clients managed to access the web site straight away. I would steer clear from using port 591 if you expect a lot of companies to access your site through corporate firewalls Simon Pennington

Is the 8080 more open at their Firewalls, and if yes, why?
April 5, 200124 yr port 8080 is open as it is the industry standard port for a second web server running on the same machine as another web server Simon
