CCBtx Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I have a script that pauses for 2 seconds and then continues. It seems that in IWP, the client side browser will pause, but not continue after 2 seconds. It waits for the user to click continue. The problem is that I have the status area hidden. Any ideas on how to get around this?
Andrew Q Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Hi. I too am encountering the same problem. I haven't been able to figure it out yet but once I do, I'll make sure I post it up for you. However, if someone out there already knows the reason y this isn't working, it would be a great help to share with the rest of us noobies. According to FM, this function is web-compatible.
lance123 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Hi To All, Yes, it does not work! You need to read the fine print on what is compatibile. I think pause actually works very differently stopping until given some kind of go ahead by the user. (Not very useful.) I have found that if you send Iwp into a loop it will pause. You can use this by sending the system into a loop for a few thousand cycles. Works just the same as a pause. Hope this helps.
CCBtx Posted December 30, 2006 Author Posted December 30, 2006 Thanks for the reply. I hope that you come up with something. I have not yet.
