Running a script from a field

Featured Replies

I need to run a script if a field contains something - Can anyone tell me how this can be done as I have reached a deadend.

Have a look at

http://www.softs4humans.com/FMPro_Plugins.html

Do you want to run it through IWP or is it just a general question?

I'd have to recommend DoScript from myFMButler or zippScript rather ALONG SIDE EventScript -- their extra features are really nice

Both IWP for one solution and standard for another. I am beginning to think this can not accomplished through FM alone and I will be forced to purchase some plugin. This kind of functionality should come standard within FM by now as is has been in the market for so many years - Still limited by functionality

Thanks for the response. Is there a web page I can read about these products?

They are three different products, but just search each one on google and you'll likely get the home page.

You can download EventScript at this address: http://softs4humans.com/FMPro_Plugins.html

And there is a FAQ web page available here:

http://softs4humans.com/support/eventscript_faq.htm

But EventScript is not working on the Web thru the IWP. Actually, I don't know a plug-in that really works on the web.

HTH.
