Blackberry browser blasts through IWP solution.

I have a number of databases running on FM Server 9 Adv. and have been accessing them online for about a year. I recently purchased a Blackberry phone and found that when I tried to view the site with the phone browser, when the IWP page loaded, it went immediately to the exit screen. We tried it on several IWP sites supported by this server with the same results.

Conventional web browsers still work fine.

Any ideas how I might get it to work on the smartphone platform?

Thanks

I tried to develop a solution to work on Blackberry with no luck. I don't think the browser is compatible. I was able to get a partial soultion to work using Opera on the Blackberry, but still didn't work exactly.

I am waiting to see how new Droid phones work. I may switch from Blackberry to a phone with a full html browser and see if that works

I've done some testing with IWP on the iPhone and it works, but since there are no scaling parameters in IWP, it is not a good user experience.

I've since moved on to PHP/FileMaker publishing for the iPhone(smartphones).

Good luck on your web/FileMaker development!

IWP is designed for desktop browsers.

I have no success to get in any mobile, even iPhone.

Special solutions are published for mobile devices (remember FM Mobile).

I use Server PHP publishing.

Other suggestion - you never can get the same on small screen as on the big screen. So, probably, try very simple IWP screens for mobiles.
