Hi,

is it possible to keep FileMaker publishing online a database without having it open on the server?

I'm asking this because I don't know why but the database periodically closes (more or less once every 2 weeks) and the customers can't access it anymore...

I need it to be up and running 24/7!

Do you have any suggestions or other solutions?

No, the file needs to be open on FMS for IWP to work.

Check the FMS event log though as to why the file keeps closing. There will be a reason listed there.

Do you have OS-level sharing active on the folder where FMS keeps the files?

Is the server (hardware) doing some kind of regular re-start?
