Anyone,

I have setup a FMP 12 advance server on windows using IIS7. Currently been using CWP, along with FM-Go 12 and several clients local and VPN.  No problems with any connections using these technologies.  I can access our DBs from the Internet with CWP and GO with no problems and our clients with VPN.  Now we are wanting to use IWP with this.  Everything shows up great on the server as turned on.  We put in the url of the domain we get nothing from the web.  When we put in the direct IP of the server it works from inside our network.  We have turned off all the firewalls thinking it was possibly that.  Still no go with IWP, yet CWP, GO and VPN still work!  This has been a complete nightmare trying to set it up.  Is IWP only usable in a local intranet?  ANY help would be greatly appreciated at this point.

Thanks

- Ron

Then this sounds like a port forwarding issue in your router (or gateway).

Typically you must set IWP to use a different port number (suggest 591) for web publishing than your web server (80). Accordingly you will need a port forwarding rule to pass traffic from the Internet to your internal server.

Most likely all the other features work, including CWP, because these are not using http: or, in the case of CWP are using the default port 80.
