I am exploring accessing my solution through web direct using fmphost.

solution works fine in server mode.

however in web direct it says I do not have a sufficiently new version of scribe: I need > 2.15.

problem is that I’m running 3.08 on my local Mac.

is this an issue about file locations? Do I need to upload scribe or something?

Scripts run in a web direct environment will use the plugin that is installed in the web direct location on the server machine, it will not use the plugin that is installed locally for FileMaker Pro.

What error message are you seeing exactly? I am not aware of an error message that says that you have to upgrade in order to use the plugin. I have seen an error message for the other way around where you have a license for Scribe 2 and are trying to use Scribe 3 and the error says "license is for older product version".

Here is the error I am getting

This message seems to indicate that FMPHost does not have Scribe installed in the web direct location. I recommend reaching out to them and seeing if they have Scribe 2.15 or later installed and if not, requesting that they install it for use in web direct. Those locations are
