February 19, 200322 yr Hi, Adam! I have no knowledge of international key codes, but are you sure it is Web Companion? Make a static HTML page in Turkish and have Web Companion serve it. If it does not display correctly, then you may have to look at using something else. Even using Apache and Web Server Connector still requires use of the Web Companion (I think, please correct me, gang, if I am wrong). You may have to use an Apache/mySQL/PHP system or the Microsoft products. Good luck! --ST
February 19, 200322 yr WebCompanion SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS with 8 bit characters. Even Central European character set doesn't work! One way is to patch WebCompanion. Another way is to translate between FM and web input/output.
February 19, 200322 yr Author There is no problem on ordinary html files. I can't see turkish chars on the data which is come from fm.
February 19, 200322 yr I would imagine that Anatoli has tried this, and I've read his comments above, but what about "..., Format" as in [FMP-Field: FieldName, Format]? That allows many things to be displayed on the browser as they are formatted in the db. This is only a wild guess, and trying it won't take much effort.
February 19, 200322 yr I do not know how to patch-it. I know it will work, but I am translating characters. Database filled from web should give you the proper web characters. It will serve back to web without problem. You will translate Turkish characters to the stuff, which is entered from web. And of course serve that with RAW format. HTH
