Is there a way to test an Instant Web Publishing database on a single computer. That is, can I point the browser on the host computer to the FileMaker application running on the same computer? It would be extremely handy for testing purposes. Thanks.

As you have Dev 7 then I'll refer you to the electronic documentation "Instant Web Publishing Guide" and see chapter 5.

choose >edit >sharing> instant web publishing> on

open your browser, try http://localhost

or http://127.0.0.1

if you port 80 is uded by some other programme
