Hi,

I'm trying to bypass the iwp-home.html, and log-in to the database directly.

I'm using the following URL: "http://fm15.888.net:80/fmi/iwp/cgi?dbpath=%2Ffmi%2Fiwp%2Fcgi%3F-db%3DFBikeNY_Database%26startsession&acct=account&name=Web&password=&login=web&-authdb"

But I receive the following error: Bad Request. Server couldn't process request due to missing command: ""

Does anyone see a syntax error in my URL?? I'm not an HTML expert...

Thank you for any insight!

Michael

PS: I would also like to take this a step further and redirect to a specific layout. But I understand this is only possible with custom web publishing?

PPS: I found the URL above on the following page: http://edoshin.skeletonkey.com/2006/12/how_to_bypass_t.html

NOTE: the spaces in the URL happened only on this page, if you're testing it, you will have to take them out.

You missed out several instances of 'amp' in your URL.

Have a closer look at the page you referenced.

It's this website, which crumbles the URL. Below is a copy paste from the source, and the amps are missing also. I do have them in the URL I'm sending to the server...

BUT if I enter it as a quote, it seems to remain intact (see below)

http://fm15.888.net:80/fmi/iwp/cgi?dbpath=%2Ffmi%2Fiwp%2Fcgi%3F-db%3DFBikeNY_Database%26startsession&acct=account&name=Web&password=&login=web&-authdb

If you click on the quote, you'll get the error messages from the server right away.

Any ideas?

Did you get to implement this? I am using Filemaker server 8 and want to implement the same to bypass the home screen and login to database.

Any help on this is appreciated.

Thanks
