Is it possible to turn off the magnifying glass in Find mode in FMP 12?

 

Unchecking "Show field frames when record is active" doesn't remove the magnifying glass like it does in FMP 11.

It's considered a feature. I never use Find mode in my solutions because of 'enhancements' like this.

The number one complaint I've gotten from users after upgrading from 11 to 12 is that magnifying glass. I guess I should feel lucky that's the biggest complaint...
