Newbies kolvorok Posted November 26, 2017 Newbies Posted November 26, 2017 I'd get some problems with date formats after installing FMS 15, and I'm trying to solve it by importing to a clone of the original database. But two tables has no layouts and I can't find a way to import these tables without making a layout in the clone or adding a table when importing. The last seems to be the simplest, but how will the relationships behave?
Lee Smith Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Hello Kolvorok, I moved your question to FileMaker Server 15. Most likely, the files have different date formats. In other words, the US dates are Month, Day, Year. European are usually Day, Month, Year. Dates usually need to be converted to local dates. i.e. your System Date Format. There are some Custom Function out there that can help. Here is one I use. http://www.briandunning.com/cf/1636 HTH Lee
Lee Smith Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 The biggest question here is what is the date format of the table being imported and what is the format of your computer.
