Cannot disconnect user

I was editing the database while testing on a PC running IE. I logged out, but the database still says that user needs to commit changes. However, it is closed.

Do you have to commit the changes on the web? Also, how do I disconnect them?

I appreciate any help as I cannot define the database at this point.
