Does Runtime based on FMP 11 have to be uninstalled for FMP13?

Hi - I have a runtime solution which I'm upgrading.  The version out there now is based on FMP11 and the new one is based on FMP13. I'm wondering if users have to uninstall previous version or if it's okay to install over the old one.

 

Any thoughts?

Since the real FM11 and FM13 can co-exist nicely, I would assume that the same applies to their runtimes.

Yes, I suppose if I installed into a new directory that would be fine - was thinking about installing it over the previous one though.  I suppose I could just delete the program directory but not do a full uninstall...?  (The issue is that when I uninstall, the registration key is lost - trying to avoid people having to register it again).
