Hi. Keen to use the Time Dropper bundle for my people to select a time. I have it installed on my solution, I can get the dropper up. I can't find where to get the actual time that the Time Dropper sets, so I can use the result. Is it a variable somewhere? Thanks

Hi I am absolutely new to carafe.fm and I want to give it a chance. I have read the documentation (https://carafe.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) and the tutorials at https://carafe.fm/tutorials/. I seems to me, that one must have already knowing about the subject. So: In the documentation I go to Carafe Bundle Creator after having installed node.js. In studio code's terminal I create a bundle by typing nom init @carafe-fm/bundle my-new-bundle, and cd my-new-bundle. After that I do not know what is the next step to work on my bundle. For example: Having js-code how do I put it into the bundle. Are the config.json, data.json meta.json explained anywhere. How do I compile …

I've had some success using Carafe to plot a set of markers on a Google Map. My only issue is that they are not as easy to see because by default Google Map is showing me dozens of neighborhood shops, restaurants, commercial establishments, etc. Is there a way to suppress those so that the only markers on the map are the ones I've specified in FileMaker?

Hi everybody, I'm new to carafe but I manage tomake it working with geocoding and webviewer mapping. This tool is so great. Do you know where to find help for advance features like : default zoom level ? markers different images ? I've looked into the scripts but the html code is soo big that I can not find the specific portion .. thank you Antoine

But… how and where do I use the two variables, $useFmpUrl and $carafeWebViewerObjectName, please? when I run the script, I get the error "The container field Container TO::Container field name was specified in the deployed script & Get( ScriptName ) & but does not exist. Hi there! Long time. :) Question about Carafe on WebDirect. With the Google Maps bundle, a script is called when the user clicks on the marker. This works perfectly in Pro (woot!). But if I try through WD, the FMP URL wants to open up FM, the app, instead of running the script within the WD instance. Is there a way around this? In short, I'm trying to open a card window (v19) when the user clicks on a marker. Thanks for all of your hard work on this.

Hi, I just had a look at your Timer Bundle. I have created a countdown timer similar to yours that gets the length of time from fields in my database. Unfortunately I cannot do anything else whilst this is in focus. Your timer allows me to do other things whilst it is running. How do I specify the field (Events::CounterInput1) into my script, so that whatever the value in this field is, the timer will start from this starting point? I have not used script parameters before. Also how can I make the timer pause and then recommence? Hi Guys, Is there a "timezone" setting in this Year Calendar example as it seems to pass incorrect dates back to FileMaker. Enclosed is a screenshot of what happens when I click on the sample event on January 2, 2019. Its not just the events ... every click action seems to return the date before the clicked date. Interestingly the examples on the developers site appear to work fine. I would have thought a Year Calendar of dates wouldn't need to take "time" into account as its not being displayed but if I adjust the function which returns clicks to FileMaker to not format the "timestamp" it clearly contains time and a timezone so clicking on "today" gives …

1) when using the Editing Online option for this board in Carafe Kitchen v3.1.3, I see several files that are editable. The most useful apparently is “template.carafe” where I can change font colors, board title colors, and probably add some additional classes to the existing 3. Is there any additional files worth editing and why? 2) I presume that since the actual Kanban javascript code is not being stored locally, along with Bootstrap, that there is not a way to edit any of those files, and that none of the API function shown on the GitHub page for this library is available? Hi I have a database hosted on a FM Server ( v19 ) that contains multiple Carafe charts on a dashboard layer. Connecting to the hosted database works fine from my Mac but as soon as I connect using an iPad and view the Dashboard layer it refuses to open and display. All other layouts display it's just the ones that contain the Carafe JS charts. Do I need to install a plugin on the server allowing iOS devices to display the dashboards? The Server is running on a Windows Server 2019vm

Unfortunately Pivot Table does not work in Windows 10 (64 bit), I suspect this might be because it needs the Edge browser but I am just guessing. I have had a look at the documentation wiki but can't see anything that indicates required browser 9at least not to my limited knowledge). Can anyone confirm if this is the case or if there is anything that can be tweaked to make it work? thanks Tim

Hi Im just started to implement some javascript charts into my Filemaker db and I've run into an issue with an array. My loader script creates the 3 x variables. The $sales variable looks like it's working for each individual record as it loops through ( {"month":December","sales":"777"} but the $data variable cannot create the Array. It displays in the debugger as [[],[],[],[],[],[],[],[],[],[],[],[]]. I think it should look like this: [{"month":December","sales":"777"},{"month":November","sales":"256"}]. Any help on this would be much appreciated as I'm pulling my hair out.. Graph.fmp12

I’m probably a bit late to the party but with v19 I’m having a closer look at leveraging JavaScript within FileMaker. Carafe is a very nice solution and I started with the Google Maps example to get my head around whats happening. Carafe made it really easy to get things in place although I initially only had default black markers because I “mistakenly” used “colour” as the key. I do have a small issue … I’ve noticed that zooming out gets a little weird if the minimumClusterSize is set to 1 or if the set of markers is a single record. In the case of a single record presentation starts at max zoom in and as you zoom out the marker stays “fixed” in place but not…

I am working with the Sankey Chart and the C3 Bar Chart in Carafe and they are working great, with the supplied data that I was able to modify. (have yet to figure out how to link my own data, but I will). I am wondering if these web viewers are supposed to able to work while viewing in WebDirect? So far I get errors in WebDirect and wonder if they only work in the Client platform. Thanks

I downloaded the DataTables Arrays bundle. I have the script installed in the solution wherein I want to utilize it. But I'm sort of lost trying to get it to read data from my solution instead of the baked-in default data provided with the bundle. My thinking/observations: It looks as if the $parameter isn't getting set with my data. It looks like I need to provide my data in the form of a JSON array, but I don't know how to do that. Hi, I would like to get started with Cafafe.FM but I need to do something else ... I have a customer who drew objects on a layout in his table::site, a single record totaling 132 little rounded rectangles. My customer would like to see things; meaning when the unit rents ( table::units ) he wants to change the objects color, so if the customer is current ( Invoice Paid, table::invoice ) he wants the object to be green, as their monthly rental renewal date come within lets say 5 days, change the color of the rectangle object to orange and as the renewal date passes and the invoice is not paid the object changes color to red as well as provide an additional d…
