Im trying to replace a really bad Access DB with a nice and clean dual platform FM DB, but unfortunately i have experience in neither. It is incredibly simple. i recently lost my data on my pc, had to rebuild my computer. I have numerous databases from FMP on my Sony Clie palm pilot. I tried already once to transfer a databases from my palm to FMP (using FM Mobile). I selected HANDHELD overwrites DESKTOP option with the database. Instead it just cleared all my needed data from the palm and the desktop data was all i was left with. I had 1000 or so on my palm before the sync, then after i ran the sync, 600 which all it showed, which was the the outdated database information my desktop. I work for a summer camp company and we create individual daily schedules for our 500+ campers. Does anyone know of any good scheduling solution that would allow me to set parameters such as "from this time ot this time X kids can go to horseback riding" and then refuse entry to the X+1 kid? I’m looking for someone that can do a few tweaks to FMP Business Tracker. I run a Music Instrument Repair shop and have found FMP BT to do almost everything I need to do in it’s downloaded form. I’ve been working with it since it came out and have either botched something up or am missing something.
