Hi all, a couple of questions. First I'm running into an issue with Google Calendar Sync where adding and deleting events are working fine but CHANGING an event's time is not being reflected in either direction. Wondering if anyone has insight on this. Secondly, I understand at one point reflecting free-busy status was on the roadmap for Zulu. Is this still planned and are there any current workarounds to sync this data? Thanks!

Hello, Since today, my Zulu 4 service is not connecting to the associated MS Outlook account as MS changed their security protocol. Is someone else facing such challenge ? Is the Zulu 5 version documented to allow MS OAuth ? Has someone already implemented it successfully ? Waiting for your responses. Thank you. Joel

It seems as though Microsoft has change their authentication methods. Does Zulu support the new methods? I am on v4.0 and do not see anyway to change auth method. The changelogs don't mention anything, and haven't been updated since July 2021, so I assume not.

Of course these things do not happen all by themselves, but it's hard to figure out what triggered it. Client has events that they mange and each event has a SETUP Date/Time and EVENT Date/Time. In the solution the SETUP and EVENT all resides in the same record. Should I replicate all the fields needed for each Calendar or should I make some sort of separate table that pushes events to a separate table and then use that to push to google? Users will only have read access to the calendar as FM is the source of truth. Hi all after installing a new computer as a server, I had to install again Zulu files to sync events from filemaker to google... The google account is my customer one, and the authentification is on is own iPhone... it seems that 2 days ago he did a mistake when google try to authenticate, since than Zulu is blocked when I try to config new settings in the admin console... I try to create another user (another google account) same problem I have access to his google account as a google developper for the API thing, but I didn't see where I can authorize Zulu.... any idea to fix that ?

Hi guys, for a customer of mine, I have installed a 360Works Zulu licence... I'm running tests for different computers, and working on filtering events with FileMaker accounts, I did notice that on my Mac with ical for exemple, I need to enter login and password for the first calendar and if I subscribe to a new one or even if I delete and subscribe again, I don't need to enter the credentials again... For the purpose of the tests I need to subscribe with different accounts, is there a way to 'force' le login requester on the user side? thanks

I have a client using Zulu 4.0609. We recently updated FMS to 19. Zulu syncs to a Google account. This seems to work fine but the client wants to see a little more history. I edited the sync connection and changed the minimum start date to about 6 months back, but Zulu is still ignoring the older events. I don't know if this is related to the 19 server upgrade. Is there another way to set the minimum start date to force Zulu to sync the older events?

I use Zulu for years now to show our production Schedule (What Product, How Many units run When, on what Production Line and Purchase Orders, What will be delivered/or at least is promised to be delivered :-)). However.. if an production order spans multiple days, it is not very readable in the calendar. In that case, I would like to show the event as "recurring".. but only in that case. Is that achievable?

it seems that php and xml publishing will not work on Linux based servers in 19. it is my understanding that zulu uses xml... will zulu no longer work if we port our server to linux? opinions apreciated. pierre

Hello, and sorry for bothering you. I run a rental office for chalets and apartments, www.bookingservice.no I need to share a calendar for each cabin to the owner, and to airbnb. Should it work to add the zulu fields to my reservationtable, where I have the productID for the chalets, and also the ID for the owner and use this last field (owner ID) as a filter so the owner only sees his own chalets ? I cant see how the calendar url can contain the filtering by owner ? Any tips how I should structure this? Working on integrating the Zulu 4 reminders into our solution. I was wondering if anyone has understood the difference between zulu_alarm_trigger_timestamp and the zulu_due. I understand one will trigger a notification... But does the Due date really do anything?

Wondering if it's easy enough to create "read only calendars" in the same way that I was able to in Subscribe, for me I need to publish individual calendars for freelance employees. Hi, We installed Zulu 4, when we updated our server, moved it to a macmini in house from AWS. We run 10.15 Catalina, FMS18.03. Our setup is special in that we have a reverse proxy, with one external IP we have two internal servers, access.mydomain at 10.x,x.10 and fmserver at 10.x.x.20. Everything works on the local machine. I can Web Direct, the Zulu Admin page works, in the 360work Java app I see Zulu4.0 working. xml is enabled. If I publish the stock calendar of the Zulu2SampleData file It publishes.. But.. I cannot login. Checked credentials. If I look at the log files there is not even a login attempt. Somehow the iCal account creation does not hit …

Hi, I'm using Zulu v3. The "Publish Calendar" script opens a web page and instructs the user to log in with a full access account. Can this be set up to work with a non-full access account? Likewise, when setting up a new sync configuration in the Zulu admin interface, the admin has to specify credentials for a FileMaker account. Can we use a non-full access account here?

Hi, Zulu 3.1 on FMS 16.0.4.406 here. When syncing with Google manually, Zulu throws this error : java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: com.prosc.sync.AbortException: Error occurred while fetching column 'Comments' / jdbcIndex 3 from result set for node 'All Events'; insertOrder: 0 Sounds like it can't access the Comments field in Google Calendar. Is there a way to fix this? I tried to delete and recreate the sync setup in Zulu, and to re-publish the calendar as well. Thanks for your help! F.

I have been using Zulu for years and have not made recent changes to my set up. In the last week, however, one calendar (my Telephone Contacts calendar) is no longer sync'ing to iCal but does show up in Google Calendar. iCal gives a 500 error (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) but, apparently, only for this calendar (as the rest of the ~7 calendars are sync'ing fine - with both iCal and Google Calendar). Just getting started and doing some research/planning before installing everything. I know Zulu supports multiple calendars but does it support outlook categories? I would like to be able to assign different categories along with using with multiple calendars. I have installed Zulu 3 on my Mac FileMaker development server and I am successfully syncing the Zulu2Example database with an iCal calendar. My ultimate goal is to sync one of my databases with and Exchange-Based calendar but I am having no luck setting up the Sync. I see Zulu 3 was released today. Does anyone know if Free/Busy support was added to CalDAV? The previous version did not support Free/Busy for events.

When installing Zulu you may get an error that web server forwarding did not work and Zulu is only available on port 42424 instead of port 80. I spoke with 360Works support and they are aware of the issue. The workaround solution is to install MirrorSync on your server. MirrorSync and Zulu use the same application backend. The MirrorSync installer will correctly setup the port forwarding. You only need to install MirrorSync. You do not need to configure it. Once you have installed MirrorSync, run the Zulu installer again and it will complete and you will be able to access Zulu over port 80.

Dear Community, I am looking to have my zulu instance to create google calendar events based on a specific timezone (Australia/Adelaide), So I modified the zulu.xml file accordingly and restarted my Tomcat server through 360Works Admin. Purged the existing data and did "reset sync data", the Syncing machine is in europe/Paris timezone The Google Calendar is also set to the same timezone (Australia/Adelaide). I have not seen this myself yet, but one of our customers using Zulu is reporting that they can connect iOS11 devices to the Zulu CalDav, but multiple iOS12 devices are giving the error “CalDAV account verification failed” when trying to connect. Is anyone else seeing this, or have any thoughts?

I'm seeing a new issue when using FMS17, Zulu, and iCal, which is that when iCal is doing it's sync, it create ~10-15 "users" of the same name that log into the server, which are counting towards the Get ( UserCount ) function, artificially inflating that number so that if we use that function for something it's significantly wrong. Is this caused by a change in FMS17, some bug in Zulu, or are we doing something wrong? Any advice?

Hi, I host my FMS17 server now on a EC2 T3-Medium AWS instance, which for cost reasons I stop at night and start during business hours. It seems that Zulu does not like that, it does not auto-restart. Every day I have to access the instance and manually restart Zulu with the 360work Java app. I might say, that this was not always so.. Only once I upgrade the machine from a t2 to a t3. Is there a way to circumvent this? What can I do?

Dear All, Looking to use the Google Attendees function and cannot get the attendees status kept in the calendar as stated in the documentation " If attendees are marked as attending or not attending in Google/Exchange will maintain their status,..." (http://docs.360works.com/index.php/Zulu_2_Attendees) But this is not the behavior I can see during my test. How can I determine what keeps causing our Zulu server to stop syncing with Google? We have been using Zulu server to sync with Google for the past couple of years. Over the past few months Zulu stops syncing after just a few days. To correct the problem I must log in, toggle off the auto-sync feature, perform a manual sync, and then turn the auto-sync back on. This is no longer a viable solution.

Hi forum, I am upgrading a customer with a FMS 13 setup with Zulu 1 on port 8080 to a FMS 15 with Zulu 2. It was already a problematic setup, as the FileMaker Server runs concurrently with an OSX Server. Hence the 8080 port to keep away from OSX Server hijacking port 80 all the time. The new FMS 15 is installed on port 85/2443 to keep away from the OSX Server web ports. Great. We wanted to keep Zulu on 8080 though, because then we wouldn't have to change the deployment on every machine. Installing Zulu 2, there is no option to choose the ports. Periodically, when changes are made to an event, the event will revert to previous version and changes are lost. We are using Zulu via FM 15 server with multiple devices - 6 desktops (OS Yosemite10.10.5 & Sierra 10.12.2), 7 iPhones, 5 iPads. Daily there are 15-25 events being added and modified throughout the day. Hi Guys, I installed the Zulu version 2.06 in Mac OSx El Capitan. The installation process does go through, but at the end it showed a dialogue of the Zulu is installed but the web server forwarding is not working and asked to redirect to a URL. And on clicking "ok". It directed to the page shown in the below screen shot. Please advise. If there is anything i am doing wrong.

I am trying to figure out how to do a clean install of Zulu. The uninstall feature of the installer is not complete, as it maintains your registration code and the fm authentication used to do the initial install. It appears that this authentication is then used for subsequent installs, even though the credentials may have changed in the FMP solution. Anyone have any idea where these credentials are saved? Dear Support, I have an unusual setup in that I run OS X Server and Fms14 on one machine. I reinstalled the FMS Server..here everything works. Web direct, Websites from the SERVER app 5.15. When I run the installer it downloads the Tomcat version 7.07.. but still it says: Installation failed, deployed application at context path/zulu but context failed to start. What can I do. I've deployed a mobile solution and goZync is failing intermittently. When the sync failure occurs it dumps the user on a gozync layout and they can't get back to the application. It also seems to be causing some data integrity issues. I cant get a hold of seedcode this weekend because its a holiday. Any brave souls want a c note via paypal to help me out? All I need to find is the exit point in the code that is causing the drop into an unfamiliar layout and put the users back into the application. i can't seem to replicate the user experience at home.

I just moved our Filemaker Server to version 13 on a new Mini running OS 10.10.2 and installed Zulu 1.357 as part of the migration. I thought everything was working great until someone showed me the calendar on their iPhone running iOS 8. After installing Zulu new appointments are being published, but older ones not. Their uuid and ical data fields stay empty. Is there a way to force Zulu to fill them?

Before upgrading to FMS 13 (Mac) I had 3 calendars published from 2 tables. Since upgrading and uninstalling zulu and re-installing with the new beta installer only the calendar that is linked to one table is working. The other 2 calendars which come from a separate table in the same file are not working and the UUID field is not being populated in that table by the plugin. All 3 calendars still publish and show up in Calendar. Anyone else using more than 1 table that has it working?

Hello, I have published calendars on iCal based on two separate tables. One of them, a "projects" table, is working fine, but the calendars for the second table ("tasks") are not showing up correctly. The calendars are publishing and I can see them but they appear blank. The calendar content is filtered using the zulu_FilterKey, and I filtered through the staff field, and the zulu_FilterValue is the staff member's name. Hence only tasks for that specific person will show. Any ideas on how to get the filtering back up? Thanks in advance, Iris

I couldn't add notifications to events in Mavericks new Calendar. When I deleted the calendar in the application and added it again it worked again.

This is the error that I am getting when I try to publish a calendar using Zulu with both my solution and the zulu sample solution. The only thing that has changed on the server is that I've added an SSL Certificate to the web server. I am running Zulu 1.3406 on a FMS 12.0.3.327 on a 10.6.8 Server. Calendar Publishing Error java.sql.SQLException: There does not seem to be a web server running at http://localhost. Check to make sure that Apache or IIS is running on the Web Publishing Engine. Also make sure that your SSL setting matches your server.

Morning, Ive had this issue, along with others, for a few days now just after transferring our web server over to a new server. I recently started using Zulu - and as part of getting a project going, had to delete sync data and start again (-: Now, when I publish calendars, a Zulu_Calls gets created in in my ZuluCalendarList table. That gets published - and I had two of these calendars in my Google list of calendars. I deleted the records in my ZuluCalendarList and in Google. Now, I get a Java error in Zulu when trying to Sync. I'm considering starting again, but before I do - is there a better way to delete a Calendar in Zulu and in Google so I don't get errors like this? Hello, If I specify travel time in the new Calendar of Mavericks the event disappear. If I restart the Calendar the event is back but the travel time is not saved.

Hello, I have updated my Macos 10.8.5 server, with the 1.3406 version of Zulu, i can publish, but when i am login in ical, it is return that a CalDav calendar is found, but my login or password is incorrect. XML, and all the other service are checked in the security parameter of my filemaker file. SSL is not checked in the FileMaker Server Advanced admin console (11.0.5). A year or so, when Zulu was still supported by seed code I had an issue with Zulu running on a Mountain Lion Server. When "wikis" where enabled on the server, one could not connect to zuluserver anymore. Has this issue been resolved?

Is it possible to use the Google Calendar sync with FileMaker External Authentication, where there are no individual accounts per user? I'd rather not have to do redundant work in Google Admin...
