Hi, I'm new to serving. I just recently started running Filemaker 10 Server on a dedicated Mac Pro with Mac OS 10.5.6. I stay logged out of the Mac Pro while filemaker server runs. I currently use the preset daily back up script to back up my solution locally. I'm curious as to some software and hardware options for backing up the whole drive on that Mac Pro to a second internal drive and an external drive for the sake of redundancy. What backup softwares would work in the background if I were not logged in? Could I just use the RAID feature built in to the Mac OS X and it will keep a copy of the drive? Is there a different or better solution for backing up to an ex…

I am getting the following error message for only 1 file among 45: Filemaker cannot host a file because of a network error. Files marked as mult-user will not be available over the network. (10048). I think that there has been a problem with our network over the weekend and that a simple re-boot will resolve the problem. However, this will disrupt a lot users and may result in files becoming damaged if they don't re-open correctly, meaning long delays while they repair. Any suggesstions on resolving this without a re-boot. I have had a good read of many solutions to similiar problems, but they have not helped. Thanks

[color:red]Part 1 Good day to everyone, We run a 10.4.11 machine that hosts about 18 filemaker files that are web enabled. They really don't get too much traffic, so running version 5 is still ok for us. Right now we have a server (server A) that hosts all of the "backend" filemaker files which we use to input data from various places. Then every night a script would pull that data from one machine and export/import it into the running web enabled files (server :. This has worked for years here, no issues. BTW this is all in a local network, all machines are mac, and all machines are running 10.4.11. The problem was the past few weeks the running filem…

I have FM9 Server running on Windows Server 2003. FileMaker is configured to run three automatic backups daily. Every night a Windows script copies the days backups from the default FileMaker backup folder to another folder. Worked fine for a few months. The when I reviewed the last few weeks backups I noticed that the files in each days folder were identical and that the files had a timestamp in the future (March 16) According to the Windows Application Event log, the first two of the daily backups ran and are recorded correctly in the log for February 16. However, one hour later there are entries showing the databases backed up again, but the …

Yay, here's another one: OS X 10.4.11, FMS10A (nothing else) We're finding that it requires two restarts of our FMS10A box to get FMSA to auto-start. On the first reboot, it isn't running. On the second, it is. Anyone else seen this? Here's appropriate /var/log/system.log lines from the first reboot: Mar 3 09:36:55 localhost launchd: com.filemaker.fms: getgrnam("fmsadmin") failed Mar 3 09:36:55 localhost launchd: com.filemaker.fms: exited with exit code: 1 Mar 3 09:36:55 localhost launchd: com.filemaker.fms: 9 more failures without living at least 60 seconds will cause job removal - John

So, I've done this with previous versions, but for some reason FMP 10 isn't doing what I want. I'm hoping somebody can point out what might work here. What I normally do for deployment of FMP Client: For Macs, I put the installer files in a new .dmg file with a modified "Assisted Install" file on my server. This works fine with FMP 10 Mac. For Windows -- I want to take the extract FMICD folder -- modify the "assisted install.txt" file -- and move this to my file server in a "read-only" directory so people can run "Setup" and install. However -- at least for my Vista clients (which is all I have here at the moment), if the user clicks on "Setup", Vi…

Had my XServe crash (running FileMaker Pro Advanced Server 9v2). When I brought it back up, web publishing will no longer start. I tried updating to FPAS 9v3, but web publishing still won't start. The message on the FileMaker Server Overview in console is "An error was encountered communicating with the server". I do not have services split. All on 1 XServe. The PHP part is still working correctly, but I have a lot of XML/XSLT databases designed before PHP came to FileMaker, so I need to get these databases up and running. Any ideas?

I installed FM Server 9 on an OS X Server. It was creating some very strange display errors that left the cursor unusable, so today I performed an official uninstall of FMA Server and reinstalled it. When I click on the Admin Console icon, I get "the database server is not available. to edit server deployment, please start the database server first." Then I click 'restart' and I get: "Unable to start the database server. please contact administrator for assistance." I have no idea where to go from here.

Greetings. I'm really new to FMP, so apologies if any of this is very basic information. I recently took over some of the technology department after our organization let someone go. I have been trying to figure out how to open up FileMaker Server and have had a lot of trouble. I'm getting a message that says "unable to launch the specified application". It also reads "Could not load file/url specified". I'm running the most current version of Leopard Server along with the most current version of FMS (9.0.3.26). Any suggestions?

We have a custom FM app running on FMSA9 on a Dell PowerEdge 1950 Win Server 2003. The network consists of point-to-point redundant T1's from ATT. The server sits 100 miles away on the same subnet, everything static. Im getting data corruption and weird behavior with status icons not showing up, reports not printing to PDF that did... This is a system under development, so were not live until issues are crushed. Currently we have 5 users accessing the sys. The Developer is saying their solution needs to be accessed via Terminal Services. I called FM support and they said our setup should work just fine. Is this a situation where the custom app is not conforming to s…

Hello, I'm trying to set up an image database built in Filemaker Pro 10 and hosted on a machine running Filemaker Pro 10 server. The images are to be hosted on a second machine (call it the "image host"), and inserted as references into the database. The problem is that I cannot insert images into the database file, either directly or as a reference. This is true whether I'm trying to insert the image from the database server machine or one of the client machines. Actually, none of the computers in my LAN can insert an image into any database unless the image is located on the hard drive of the machine being used to insert the image. If I try to insert an …

I am running FM Server 9 on OS X 10.4. I need to specify an additional database folder that is located on a mounted DMG. I get 'invalid path', which I assume has to do with the fact that it's on a DMG (the path is correct and permissions seem fine). Anyone have experience with this? Anyone know how to make FMS recognize a path that is on a DMG? Thanks!

For some reason I was thinking I could make a backup script for each day of the week: Monday backup Tuessaday backup etc. And thought there would be a file called 'mydatabase-monday backup', 'mydatabase-tuesday backup', etc. But I see each time FileMaker server 9 backs up the database, it just over-writes the old database. Should I just create a single 'daily' backup? Or is there a way to have Filemaker Server 9 make a backup of my database with a different name every time it backs up my database. Thanks!

Alright. Managed to get my FM6 files converted, cleaned and opening error free so I figured lets get the server running. After installing, I went through the config and tried to change the default folders as I already have a backup folder and I don't want the databases stored in the library. Everything I tried says it's an invalid folder so I checked the help and found: Owned by fmserver or in the fmsadmin group? When I tried to change the permissions for my backup folder to add that group, it will not add as it doesn't seem to exist anywhere. When I just type in the name, it fails as I did not put in a password. What's up with this and how do I get it to…

Hello everyone, this is my first post here, so first of all good morning to all forum users and thanks for your time and help. Also, please forgive my bad English, it's not my first language We are trying to go online with a new web system based on an FM database. It is a WebObjects solution that talks with FileMaker via its SequelLink JDBC drivers. Performances have always been a problem, since the supported subset of SQL commands is not responding as expected (at least, that is what our web developers say), data type matching is a big issue and response time can get awfully high with a somewhat heavy load (if 100 users in the system can be considered a h…

I have installed FMSA10 on Vista Ultimate, but the admin console won't start successfully. I have cleared the Java cache, have only Java u7 (not 11) running. After numerous reinstalls and restarts have had no luck. Has anyone had any success installing Server 10 Advanced on Vista Ultimate? The specs say Vista Business is the "minimum" requirement, so as Ultimate exceeds this it should work.

Is there anyway that I can turn on Debug logging in FM Server 9 or 10 so that I can find out more about what's happening when an FM client is pulling out data? We have an FM CMS which is running slowly, and despite months of work, we have ended up doing the Filemaker debugging ourselves as the vendor doesnt appear to be interested. I'm keen to know more about what data is being sent to the client, and whether any errors may be occuring, when the FM clients go to a particular screen in the CMS app. I've turned on all the logging options I can see in the FMS Admin app, but that doesnt tell me much at all. I'm after something more...verbose. Any ideas? Ol…

Hi chaps, We have just had setup a new CRM package based around Filemaker Pro 9. However, the entire system runs like a dog. I mean slow, really slow. A list of to-do items (coloured text) containing some 20 entries may take around 2 minutes to appear in full. Each entry showing after about 2 to 4 seconds. We get lots of "not responding" when waiting for different screen within the CRM app to load, which again can take minutes. One user this morning timed how long it took to show a drop down menu list of around 10 items from a form on one of the pages, that took 19 seconds to fully show it's contents. Now, we've been working with the CRM vendor who are…

I have a number of clients using databases, hosted out from a dedicated server machine. All our servers have fmserver backups on, creating hourly backups on the hour every hour. For some reason on a number of our sites backups have begun to fail (not all at the same time!). I know this can be due to corrupt files so this afternoon 1 particular client was unhosted, all the files were saved as compacted and rehosted (there should be no corruption anyway as I always follow best practice). I had previously done this to another client suffering the same issues and it sorted the problem but has not done here..... What other issues can cause Fmserver backup…

When I go to the file list using the Server admin software, the file that I want to open just remains closed. Network sharing is turned on for all users in the file itself, but it still isn't allowing the file to be opened in a shared state. Opening the file on my desktop gives me the message,"filemaker cannot share files because another user is already sharing files using filemaker pro on this computer." It seems like alot of people have had similar flavors of this problem. This is what I typically do: 1.) go to Start, Run, access the network folder, and copy a currently shared and hosted filemaker file 2.) paste the file to my pc's desktop, update the record…

We have an old legacy system currently on Windows 2003 SP1 using FMS 5.5. This system is used ONLY maybe once or twice a year to check old archived data. Its not worth the time or effort really to migrate it to .fp7 since its not our production data system. Most of the data was migrated out to a new system over a year and a half ago; currently on 9. However, once in a while when they need to look up how it looked in the old system, they need to go back to it. We havent had any real issues with it on 2003 SP1. However, our server dept want to strongly add the SP2 patch for security reasons. I want to see if anyone else has any issues with SP2 using this setup.

We have used a Filemaker solution for our business for the past 5 years. Suddenly one of the 35 files acts as if it's set to "Single User" when accessing (needing info from a relationship)from a client on the network. I've checked sharing settings and replaced files from back ups made before the problem cropped up. The problem persists with this single simple file. (running Server 5.5 FM Pro 6 on clients) The file can be seen and opened via "File/Open Remote" and the solution works fine on the client until one quits the app. On opening again, the file is "invisible" again until opened manually via "File/Open Remote" from the menu. It behaves just like …

Recently, my installation of FMS9 Advanced on my Windows XP Intel Core2 Duo Processor T5200 with Java Run-time Environment version 1.6.0_11 wouldn't allow me to manage FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced database uploads. Question: Anyone know of a reason I should not be attempting to run FMS9 Advanced on the aforementioned environment?

I am running Filemaker 9.0v3 on an old Powerbook G4 (gotta upgrade that soon!), Mac OSX 10.5.5, and serving it to a very small number of people, maybe 3 or 4 at most. It was running fine, but yesterday I noticed that the firewall was turned off, so I thought I'd better turn it on. But now I can't configure the firewall to let requests to Filemaker through. I've added Filemaker to the list of applications which can receive incoming connections, but it does not actually do so; the client sees the server and list of files, but times out without opening. If I turn the firewall off, it works fine. I read that you have to open port 5003, but OSX 10.5 doesn't configure ports, it…

I'm running a FMP 9 database on FMS9 on a Mac mini running Leopard. All apps involved have the most recent (including SSL) updates. From within the local network, users can see and open the file in the Open Remote dialog by going to the local IP (10.1.10.102). That is also the IP address that shows in the FMS Console Overview. My problem is the client now wants to access the db from outside the intranet. When I put the IP address of the machine (acquired using IP Widget) in the Open Remote dialog on a distant machine, no files are listed. What are possible solutions?

Hello everyone, Since I told FMS to show only databases which users have rights for to connect to, some of the users complain about getting disconnected and when trying to reconnect, users can klick on the servers IP-Adresse, but no more databases are shown. What to do, what to do? Could it be the firewall? I dont think so, cause changing the option that users can see whatever database there is on the FMS, although for most of the databases they dont have accounts for, the problem like the one described above does not exist anymore. An Option for the users is to boot their client computer and after that FMS offers them their database again. My chef does not allow …

We recently tried to administer a survey using IWP. Everything was running fine until we had 45 people logged on at the same time. I was watching the stats on the Admin Console and all of a sudden everything dropped to zero and stopped changing. The 45 people still showed up as being logged on. Hi all, (forgive my long story, but I figured the best policy was to give as much info as possible) I just recently (this month) upgraded to Filemaker Server 9. My FMS9 installation is up to date, and all of my client installations are running 9.0v3. (FMS9 is running on Windows Server 2003 OS). A database which has been in use since June 2007 has started acting up since the upgrade to 9. About a week ago, the database closed, kicking out all users. Server could not reopen the database. I opened the file locally and "Saved As Compacted". (Should have instead reverted to a backed up copy, I'm sure) Once that was complete, I replaced the existing file wit…

Okay, here's the deal: My client is running a 2-machine deployment of FileMaker Server 9.3. Two weeks ago, their Domain Controller server died and needed to be replaced. We have a website set up using Custom Web Publishing. Shortly after the DC was replaced, CWP stopped working intermittently for hours at a time. Everything else works fine--Users are still able to access the database using FileMaker Pro. When CWP stops working, port 5003 stops accepting new connections on both the Worker and the Master machine. FileMaker reports this as an 802 "Unable to Open File" error. Restarting IIS clears this problem up. Sometimes, this problem goes away on its o…

G'day all: My current DB is gettting pokey ... I want to run the Optimize utility. I have these questions. 1. Do the users need to be logged out and do I have to close the DB from FM9 server before starting? 2. Looks like those who set the server machine up loaded FM9 server Admin there but didn't load regular(client) FM9 there. I know where to find Optimize on the normal FM9 - is it available on FM9 server, or do I need to load the normal product there? 3. Looks like Optimize on a local copy of the DB runs about 50 minutes ... any feedback on how long it should run on the server copy also appreciated. My f…

Hi, We're currently running FMSA on a sub-prime Windows 2003 Server. We have received an offer from a hardware supplier for a new, fast, powerful, 4 Go RAM machine which looks as if it could do a better job. The pre-installed OS their machine is Windows Server 2008. I noticed that this version of Windows is not mentionned on the FileMaker site as being a supported OS for FMSA 9. But can FMSA 9 work with it? Yes? No? Maybe? Is it risky? Minor glitches? Inadvisable? Non-starter? No-brainer? Or is it that FM just didn't apply for the "Runs on 2008" label? Is there anyone out there running FMSA 9 on Windows Server 2008? Successfully? TIA …

Hi All: After updating my FileMaker Adv. Pro to 8.5v2 (Mac OSX 10.5.5) to fix the Excel issue, I was no longer able to access the databases on our FileMaker Server (FileMaker Server 9 on a Mac OS X 10.5.5) After our IT guy did some R&D he found an article on this forum that said the SSL cert was the issue. He downloaded the fms_9.0.3.326_mac_ssl_updater to the server and followed the instructions on it's application, then restarted the server. The issue still remains post reboot. If the IT guy turns off SSL we can see the databases, while SSL is checked we cannot. Any help is much appreciated! (the IT guy is trying to avoid …

Can someone explain to me why when you close a file that is hosted on FileMaker Server, it disconnects all users who are running Filemaker? A long time ago, it would allow you to close a server file and if someone had it open, it would give a file not found error and let them continue. I realize there is room for data corruption but it shouldn't kick everyone out of all files because you close one file. It gives the standard, lovely error message: Communication with the host was interrupted and could not be re-established. All affected windows will be closed. Weekly I have to replace a large file with an updated file and it is so annoying when I have to res…

Please forgive me if this has been covered: am I correct in supposing that Adv Server with IWP on OS X is prone to stopping? Tht is what is happening with ours every few days. I think it might be after the databases have been backed up. The strange thing is that when it happens, some of our redirects from http.conf just go missing - get chopped off. FM Adv Server writes to this file so I presume it might be the culprit. Has anyone else experienced problems with stability on OS X, or a loss of httpd.conf entries? Your time and patience is much appreciated.

Does anyone have any experience with renaming the servername that FM 9 Server resides on? We are putting in a new server and I wanted to get everything installed and ready before turning off the old server (rbcFM). I wanted to call it OldServername2 (rbcfm2) so I can have both on the domain to allow me to copy the data off the old server to the new. I would then take old server offline and rename the new server (rbcfm2) to the old server name (rbcfm). I didn't know how well FM 9 server would react to the renaming of the server. Thanks, John

Hi, I started out with a clean install of Windows 2003 server Standard edition (SP2). I then installed IIS 6.0, and verified I could access the default web page from both outside the firewall and on the machine itself. Next, I installed FM Server Advanced 9 - everything went fine. Running the Deployment Assistant is where I ran into trouble. When it asked me how many machines I wanted to deploy on, the selected choice was -2- which I thought odd, but I put it back to 1 and continued on. Picked all the defaults, and let it install PHP, etc., clicked Next. As you can see from the picture, it can't find IIS. I'm stumped. Anyone have an idea of what I can do?

Hello All, I have a database running on Filemaker Server 9 Advanced on OS X. I want to run a script that will generate an email that will tell all the member of a specific group the number of new entries and number of updated entries. This script is all set to go and is running. However, I forgot that the "Send Email" script step is not web compatible and therefore will not work on the server. Does anyone know of another way that I can get that script to run at some determined time and have it send off an email? I can lamely accomplish this by creating an automation script in OS X that will open a filemaker app, run the script to generate the email, th…

I am using FileMaker Server 8 and FMP 8. I have a database file of products that is shared and resides on a windows xp pro machine that is our dedicated FileMaker server. I would like to add pictures to this database. More specifically just file references to the pictures as I don't want the database to get huge and I understand this is the recommend procedure. Where the best place to store those pictures? I would like to create a shared folder where my users can upload pictures to. Is it better to create this shared picture folder on a separate file server or should I create a shared folder on the machine that is hosting FileMaker Server? Thanks!

Hi there! I've been trying to get this thing to work all day but had no luck, so I'm trying my luck on the forum now... I have a database running on FMS9 on my iMac desktop. When I try accessing it from said desktop through Open Remote from either FMP8.5 or FMP9 advanced, it works fine. However, when I try accessing it from another iMac with FMP8.5 on the same network, it shows the server but not the database. I've been reading many of the posts online, have checked the Filemaker.com knowledge base and have tried the following: - modifying my firewall settings so port 5003 is accessible - changing the Sharing settings - checking my FMS9 settings …

Hello Forum. I have a win 2003 FM Server (v 9.0.2.151) sharing about 20 files. [caveat: I work with a client that's MIS department is a little prickly (understatement). So, my hope is to find the easiest solution to this problem.] I developed a solution on Filemaker 8.5 Advanced that is served on a Windows 2000 server using Filemaker Server 8 across an intranet to about 8 clients. I've convinced the funders and decision makers to upgrade to Filemaker Server 9 Advanced (I plan to take advantage of the ODBC capabilities of Advanced). I recommended to the MIS department that they install Server 9 Advanced somewhere on the server and then copy the database solution to that new location, map one of the clients to that new location and le…

I know the final answer to all of this has probably got to be something with our firewall/router configuration, however, I'd still appreciate any feedback on this becuase I'm lost at why this is actually working for me right now. Here's the scenario. Our FM server is hosted on-site. We have a web server hosted off-site. As such, I'm trying to configure the FM server as a two-machine configuration: FM and WPE on 1 machine and the web server on the second machine. I go through the deployment wizard and successfully setup our domain.com as the web server, and then it does its thing and configures the rest. When it's done I get 3 green lights and everything sa…

our company recently purchased a new server to house the FM Pro 8 database application and data. I am their IT consultant and I have no experience with FM. Is there a doc or howto detailing what steps should be taken in moving the app and data to this new server? I can follow the install guide for the application itself, my real concern is how to import or move the database to the new server? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I have an extensive db developed that has about 10-20 users on regular basis. Each user has a copy of FMP9 and accesses it via network and FMSAdvanced 9. I want to add limited access to the db for customers to enter orders themsleves via a touchscreen kiosk. Is this possible? When I use the developer utility in FMA9 to set the db for kiosk mode - will that exclude future changes to the database? Will the current users still be able to access it as normal? This db - like most - is in constant development and improvement.

I have a single database that I want to share with a colleague. I use FM 9 Advanced to create databases and will soon add FM Server 9 to my Mac OS X Server to share the databases over the local network. As I understand, FM Server 9 doesn't allow you to do instant web publishing. My question, can I set up the one database to share the one database with FM 9 Advanced and share the rest of the databases to the network with FM Server.

Hi all, I have the following problem with File Maker Server 9.03: when I go to my web publishing site in the browser I can see my database, but when I want to open it by clicking on it I get the message "Database not available!" I can open the same database through FileMakerPro and in the administration of FMS everything seems to be OK. The mainboard of my MacBookPro has just been exchanged because of a problem - maybe it has to do something with a connection between the internal computer address or something? Befor it worked liek a charme. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a small system. FM Server 9 (9.0.3.326) running on one machine sharing 20 .fp7 files. If I run FM 7 on this machine and select "Open Remote" using the "Local Hosts" from the pull-down, the server (name STPI) shows up fine and I can see the files. If I go to another machine running FM 7 and select "Open Remote" using the "Local Hosts" from the pull-down, the server does not even show up. Server is running 10.5.5 and other client is running 10.4.11. Both clients are 7.0v3 and are on the same subnet. If I manually type in the IP address of the server, I can see it, but, I'm trying to get this to work by just using the "Name" that I defined in the server…

I'm running filemaker server 9v3 on mac os x 10.4.11. I have clients running both OS X (regular) 10.5.4, and OS X Server 10.5.4. I just upgraded these clients to 10.5.5, and to FileMaker Advanced 9v3. After this upgrade, one of my clients (the one running OS X Server 10.5.5) can still see the Filemaker Server (e.g. it shows up in the "Hosts" list when you choose "open remote") but it can no longer see any databases to open (e.g. the "Available FIles" list is blank). Another machine running OS X 10.5.5 (normal) plugged into the same network on the same subnet can access the files just fine. I thought perhaps it was a firewall issue, but turning off firewa…

Greetings all, this is my first post. I work for an Apple dealer in Philly and we have a client for whom we recently installed a pair of Sonicwall Firewalls to provide a VPN Tunnel between 2 remote offices. Prior to accessing the Filemaker host through the VPN tunnel, we had users in the second office access the main server via Port forwarding on their Comcast router. The FM server is running 5.5 on a Dual Processor PowerMac G4 running OS 10.4 Their comcast speeds are 12 MB down and 1 UP. There are 14 databases (all under 20MB) that are opened and used, Opening the DBs on the internal network where the server resides takes about 15 seconds.. yet over the…

Hey everyone -- I did a little bit of searching around both fmforums as well as the internet at large, but didn't see anything related to this specific issue, so I thought I would start a thread here. Should the OpenURL script step actually work in a server side script? I created a script to launch a web page but anytime the script is run as a schedule, it fails with error 4. If I run it manually, it works fine (yes, I'm using the same account). I do have the "Perform without dialog" checkbox turned on. I also tried using web viewer to accomplish the same thing (with a Set Web Viewer script step), but that gives me error -1. My reasons for doing this is to run a php script once a day. Since the server is a Windows box I can't use AppleScript, and I don't have a clue how to write an external script in Windows to simply go to an URL. Anyone have any help/i…

I'm not sure this is the correct place for this post, but here goes. I have been having a great number of issues when a file hosted by FP Server Advanced 8v4 is crashing on a particular client's machine (Windows XP2). This client - using FP9v3 - usually runs a large number of databases on his machine over various applications and has a consistent problem of his FP files crashing at different times (e.g. sometimes when only FP9 is open; other times when moving between applications). In particular it seems to happen when running scripts to view different layouts (e.g. arriving on a different layout causes the page to partially draw and will bring up the message: …

This seems to be a repeating topic on these forums. Here is my scenario. Fresh Install of OSX Server 10.4.11 on an Xserve with no connection to the internet. Install Filemaker server 9. I get in, can configure things, looks good. I setup everything for using server, doing backups, etc. then quit admin console. Attempt to launch again, and it sits at the screen saying "checking for latest version" and never goes beyond that. I have wiped the server and reinstalled everything, only to get the same symptom. …

I apologize if this has been covered before. I didn't find a thread like it, so please provide a link if available. I was recently tasked with helping a small office migrate their FileMaker Server 5.5 installation to a new machine. The old server is running Server 2003 Standard Edition (SP1) 192.168.1.3. Internal DNS was handled by the broadband router and there's no name suffix published to all DHCP clients. A new server was acquired, Server 2003 SP1 installed, patched, promoted as a DC (in the event they wish to use an AD-based network later on), and made to function as the office's new DNS (configured to use the ISP's DNS as the forwarder). Fourth window : pretty frantic. Zigzagging between 60% and 80%. Is this Good? Bad? Normal? Unfortunate? If it's bad, or unfortunate, is there anything I can do in FMS or in Windows to get it better ?
